WOLF WHISPERER October 20, 2007 Raymond Bouchard 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
The author of the WOLF WHISPERER captured a time when life was simple and a boy could grow up happy and fulfilled living in the country, romping with his pet wolf. You will learn a lot about good, caring people and the animals that taught them much about life, which is lacking in today's schools. The author's true story about Darrell, The Wolf Whisperer, is a "page turner" and you won't want to put this book down as the people and animals come to life.
My Dad September 1, 2007 Yvonne Lewis (Texas) 2 out of 3 found this review helpful
This book is about my dad Darrell Ayers. He is a true and real life, not only wolf whisperer, but also a dog and horse whisperer. He has helped many people with their dogs, making even the worst of them into well behaved family members. This book is about his childhood friend Tiger and their adventures together. Gerald Washburn writes and excellent account of my dad's incredible ability to work with animals. My dad gave me the gift of dog whispering. As a small child I was already helping him work with dogs. He was the leader of the 4-H dog project when I was a child. With his coaching, I trained the best, smartest, and most well behaved dog in the entire world. He was a beautiful Shetland sheepdog named Bear. Bear was my best friend; we won many dog shows together.
