We bought this toy for our 1 1/2 yr old daughter after we lost our lab. She will be 4 yrs this fall and it is still one of her favorite toys. This was the toy that started her on schleich, now she collects them all. They are small enough to go anywhere. They are so durable...from sand and pool to bath, these toys go everywhere. I cannot say enough good things about the schleich animals. I only wish they sold some animal care accessories to go with them, such as dog houses and bowls etc. We have improvised.
