I trust in his word November 1, 2007 Carol Talbot (Tiverton, RI United States) 0 out of 9 found this review helpful
Although I haven't had the time to read his newest book, I have the utmost confidence that it's a great book filled with information that will help me to continuing being the best pack leader ever. I recommend both books for people who have no clue how to raise their dogs. I have 2 dogs and they can be a handful.
This book could be re-titled "Zen and the Art of Dog Training" November 1, 2007 A Band of Brothers Admirer (Pennsylvania) 5 out of 9 found this review helpful
This is a wonderful book. Don't be mislead into thinking it's a book about dog training. It's much more than that. Cesar Millan is a man well along on the path to enlightenment. He has some of the same "renaissance man" qualities that we can recognize in people like Steve Irwin and John Denver. These people have the ability to define life and expand the awareness others. They bring harmony to what might otherwise be chaos. They are antennas for picking up and transmitting all we know that is good about life. I strongly urge everyone to read this book. You will be better for it and the world will be better too.
More of the same October 29, 2007 Citydog (US) 27 out of 84 found this review helpful
More of the same oversimplification of dominance theory from the celebrity trainer du jour. If only settlements were made public...

This book was great. It changes the way you think. I love that the author is so positive. It all makes perfect sense to me.
Be the Pack Leader October 28, 2007 AF - San Diego (San Diego, CA) 6 out of 10 found this review helpful
As with Cesar's Way, his second book reviews the principles about dog behavior and how humans can better relate to dogs. I have found both his books to be extremely enjoyable to read. I especially enjoy the concept positive "energy" to communicate with your dog. It all makes sense and is very effective in application. If you enjoy his show, you'll love his books!
