4 out of 5 stars Very Good Book so Far   August 12, 2006

i haven't finished the book yet, but so far i'm enjoying it very much! it's easy to read and provides an interesting insight to Cesar's background and primarily the basis of his dog psychology. i feel like i have a better understanding of who my dog is and i look at her and treat her differently as a consequence; and this is a good thing. i would recommend this book to anyone wishing to have a closer and more meaningful relationship with their dog.

4 out of 5 stars Good book on tape   August 10, 2006

This book on tape is very interesting. We love Cesar and love hearing his stories. The only problem is when he explains things he explains them as if you are in front of him. Like how to hold your hands. He just states to hold your hands this way or move like this ect.......
This book still helped us overcome some obstacles with our dog.

The book was very interesting. Now I look at my dogs behavior
in a very different and helpful way.

4 out of 5 stars Good information.   August 8, 2006

First three chapters just revolved around Cesar Millan personal life, which I think these chapters, are unnecessary, in spite first three chapters; this book has good general information about dog behavior. All though Cesar has good hands on experience and my estimation, his methods are correct. I believe in his methods.

This book is good. It gives alot of background about his life. Gives you a little information about dog problems and about the dog state of mind. Reinforces how important walking and exercise are. I think maybe the next book will give more tips on correcting behavior. If you haven't seen the show then you will probably get more out of the book. I am a true believer in his methods.
