 Cute toy, online site needs WORK January 2, 2008

My 5 year old got this for Christmas. She has several webkinz but a little girl in her class has an "epet" and she wanted one. **We bought ours for $9.99 at WalMart WHY are they so high here?** First, as someone else mentioned, only one person can pick a name EVER so let's say your daughter names her dog Spot then no one else can. Duh! So you end up choosing stupid things like blue123. Also, you earn money easily and quickly on webkinz but it takes for-ev-er to earn it on myepets. Sometimes you earn money on games, sometimes not. You can earn $20 a pop for sending ecards but how many people does a little kid know to email? Also, on webkinz when you add a new pet it puts more funds in your acct - apparently not at myepets. DD bought the dalmation puppy with some christmas money and we added it but didn't receive extra funds in the piggy bank. Overall, a rip off. The toys are adorable and the site has the *potential* to be a good site especially for 8 and under but they need to make it easier to earn funds, give a funds gift and a couple of accessories with each new pet added to the acct, etc...

Disappointed in this purchase. Never did the seller mention that this puppy was the mini puppy. These are sold in stores for $9.99. I was under the assumption that this epet was the larger ones since it was $21.
