How to Tame A Jack Russel July 21, 2006 Lowell E. Gwin (Atlanta, Illinois) 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
This is a great book. The things I read about Jacks,I had no idea about. It fits them to a tee. This is my secound Jack Russel and my daughter has one that chases aliens on the ceiling(shadows). I would recommend for a new or old Jack Russel owner
Excellent Information July 10, 2006 Bob Cavallaro 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This book is written in a 'jump to' format you don't have to read it cover to cover to find information important to you. It gives you great information on selecting, training and basic care of the Jack Russell Terrier bread.
Good owner's manual June 13, 2006 Anonymous critic (USA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
This is a basic, no-nonsense guide to owning a Jack Russell. At the very least, you'll know what you're in for. DO take the author's advice seriously. Owning a Jack Russell is serious business! Your dog will need a large yard, lots of love and attention, exercise and *patience*!! I realize I am editorializing over the book here - she pretty much covers everything you need to know.
GREAT BOOK!!! August 22, 2005 Katarzyna TARKA (BANNER ELK, NC) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful

Tells the straight truth! August 20, 2004 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I love it! It tells the truth. It tells you straight a away that these are no ordinary easy to train dogs! These are free spirited creatures, with a mind of their own. I enjoy the constant reminder: It takes a person with a sense of humor to own a JRT!
