A Great Clicker Training Guide March 22, 2007 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Clicking with Your Dog is a great introduction to clicker training, and training in general. The pictures are clear and obvious. The instructions are also clear and explain the motivations of your actions and the dogs actions.
The book covers the most desired skills to teach a dog - from basic doggy etiquette to more advanced, impressive skills. I had very good results using the book as a guide while training my dogs. I would definitely recommend this book to a friend.
Good Clicker training manual for the clicker-challenged February 7, 2007 3 out of 3 found this review helpful
I liked this book. Instead of going too much into the theory behind clicker training, this is a practical, hands-on manual designed to teach people how to actually DO clicker training.
I found some of the tricks to need better explanations, but overall, I liked the book a lot and highly recommend it.
Clicker Training November 4, 2006 7 out of 14 found this review helpful
The quality of the book is amazing, especially for those that find it hard to understand other dog training manuals. The illustrations were very helpful. I just didn't click with clicker training myself. For any positive reinforcement dog training, you have to have treats or the clicker nearby. I was constantly losing the clicker. This is obviously a problem with me and not the product.
everybody's happy August 16, 2006 10 out of 10 found this review helpful
I adopted two puppies at the same time and have been using this book to train them. They are now 5 months old. My husband and I can pick a lesson and we both see the correct way to teach the pups. By each of us following the same recipe, the pups are learning rapidly and aren't confused by each of us having our "own" way to train them. The pups are always happy to see the clicker come out and my husband and I are having lots of fun, as this is the first time we have dogs that actually do tricks! One of the best investments we have made since we got the puppies.

This nifty book breaks training procedures down into step-by-step instructions with clear, understandable illustrations. Having trouble figuring out how to teach a certain behavior? Flip to Clicking With Your Dog!
