5 out of 5 stars Great Movie!   June 17, 2008
I really enjoyed watching this climatic finish to the Pirates of the Caribbean movies. I think it's the best of the three movies! It was a little long--but that just made it all the better!!! The plot is about how Barbossa, Elizabeth, and Will rescue Jack Sparrow from Davy Jones Locker and their adventures until the climatic battle in the end. This is definately a must for any pirate fan!

5 out of 5 stars I dont understand the haters.   June 16, 2008
While to me the second one was not quite what I wanted to see I thought this one was great. Its completley different than either of the first two which it should be. The first was a classic, but this one was also great in its own right. Its very hard for a third entry in a series to compare to the first. But I think this one was almost just as good, its very far fetched but then so is the whole story. It also looks very good on blu-ray. But people who hate this one probly just wanted to see more of the same and be like the first one. This is one of the best trilogies ive ever seen all three movies have a significant story and in my opinion the second one was the only one with no replay value.

1 out of 5 stars Worst of the lot   June 13, 2008

Mind you, I liked the first movie. The second one was ok.

The third? Clearly this movie was made for money. The movie is about three hours too long. (Wait, you say, it's only three hours long to begin with!) Exactly my point, it is three hours too long. I guess if you enjoy watching special effect after special effect for 3 hours, this movie will fill the bill. After about 20 minutes, I wasn't following the ridiculous story line any more. I really didn't care. I actually did watch it to the end to humor my ten year old son--but that's what dads are for, right?
