Product Description Stories To Go!Everyone's been invited to the Three Little Pigs' housewarming party. Goldilocks and Little Red Riding Hood have already marked it on their calendars. Unfortunately, so have the Wolves -- the Big Bad kind who forced the Pigs to build their house of bricks in the first place! As the Pigs' friends write one another about the party, and the Wolves correspond about their plans for revenge, their letters give picture book readers a fresh, funny take on some familiar characters.

My children really like this book March 22, 2008 This book is very clever. My kids create their own letters and situtations and the book sparks their imaginations.
This is one of our favorite bedtime books.

I read this book to a group of 3rd graders. It held most of their attention, but not all of it.
A clever fractured fairy tale July 11, 2001 13 out of 13 found this review helpful
Many favorite fairy tale characters are planning a party and they are busily sending letters to each other. Letters are often considered a lost art now, but this book shows what letter writing is like to younger children. The most fun, however, comes from the illustrations that enhance the information provided in each letter. The book is most likely too complicated for 3 and under, but older children should enjoy the interaction of the characters and the story development. The book gets better with its second and third reads. What child doesn't want to hear it read more than once anyway?
