This is a good book with practical information. It is not very in depth but is still quite useful.

This book has a lot of very good information of taking care of your dogs health (Although most of the advice would apply to any dog). I was particularly disappointed in the section on puppy selection which was my main reason for buying this book. Very superficial information.
