Historically known as the "bible" in GSD Breeding July 8, 1997 6 out of 6 found this review helpful
Gives a solid understanding of the genetics behind breeding German Shepherd Dogs. For those interested in taking their knowledge even further, Willis has provided us with authors and books throughout his book that go into more depth on any particular point of interst (although unneccessary, as Willis provides all the knowledge necessary to make educated decisions in a breeding program designed for controlled breeding of quality German Shepherd Dogs). I recommend this book to any breeder (beginner or experienced), and also suggest his 1992 re-write.
