It is only a stiff plastic sign. As signage goes, it's fine - No blurring or smearing. It could use an additional hole for attachment, but it is easy to drill yourself. It hasn't faded any so far but this is mid-fall.

I love showing off my sign, and I love my GSD. I might suggest a better laminated surface. I haven't had a problem, but it would seem like good extra protection.
